강화도 길상면에 위치한 금풍양조장은 1931년부터 전통 방식으로 막걸리를 만드는 곳이에요. 3대에 걸쳐 전해 내려오는 술 빚는 기술과 이야기가 매력적이죠. 금풍양조장은 오래된 목조건물과 하얀 페인트가 인상적인데, 인천광역시 등록문화재로도 지정되었답니다.Located in Gilsang-myeon, Ganghwa Island, Geumpung Brewery has been making makgeolli in the traditional way since 1931. It is attractive to see the skills and stories of making alcohol passed down from three generations. It is also designated as a registered cultural property of Incheon Metropolitan City, with its old wooden buildings and white paint impressive.

Geumpung Yangjo Makgeolli with the taste and style of Ganghwa
금풍양조의 막걸리는 ‘3無의 원칙’을 고수해요. 강화도에서 자란 무농약 친환경 쌀을 사용하고, 감미료는 전혀 넣지 않아요. 또한, 제로웨이스트를 실천하며 쓰레기를 줄이려 노력하죠. 그래서인지 금풍양조 막걸리는 옛날 맛을 그대로 느낄 수 있어요. 특히 금학탁주 블랙, 그린, 골드 등 다양한 라인업이 있어 취향에 따라 즐길 수 있어요.
Geumpung Yangjo's makgeolli sticks to the 'principle of nothing'. It uses pesticide-free, eco-friendly rice grown in Ganghwa Island, and doesn't add any sweeteners. Also, I try to reduce waste by practicing zero-waist. Maybe that's why Geumpung Yangjo's makgeolli can taste the same as the old days. In particular, there are various lineups such as Geumhaktakju black, green, and gold, so you can enjoy them according to your taste.
금풍양조장의 체험 프로그램

금풍양조장은 단순히 술만 만드는 곳이 아니에요. 막걸리 빚기 체험은 물론, 진달래 축제와 연계한 진달래 막걸리 만들기, 로컬 브랜드와 협력한 다양한 행사들이 열려요. 양조장 2층과 국실(누룩을 만드는 공간)은 현재 복원 중이며, 2024년 하반기에는 일반에 공개될 예정이에요. 이곳에서 직접 막걸리를 빚어보고, 집에서 만들어볼 수 있는 막걸리 밀키트도 제공된답니다.
Geumpung Brewery is not just a place to make alcohol. In addition to experiencing makgeolli making experience, azalea makgeolli making in conjunction with the azalea festival, various events will be held in cooperation with local brands. The second floor of the brewery and guksil are currently being restored, and it will be open to the public in the second half of 2024. There will also be a makgeolli meal kit that you can make your own makgeolli and make at home.

금풍양조장에 오면 사진 찍기 좋은 스팟도 많아요. 특히 입구의 한자 현판 아래에서 찍은 사진이 인기가 많아요. 운이 좋으면 주인장이 직접 만든 막걸리를 시음해볼 수도 있어요. 양조장 내에는 막걸리뿐만 아니라 술지게미로 만든 인센스, 향초, 메시지 카드, 술잔 등 다양한 굿즈도 가득해요.
If you come to the Geumpung Brewery, there are many good spots for taking pictures. In particular, photos taken under the Chinese character signboard at the entrance are popular. If you're lucky, you can try the makgeolli that the owner made himself. The brewery is full of not only makgeolli but also various goods such as insense, scented candles, message cards, and cups made with liquor.
